After the Last Supper, Jesus and the 11 disciples went to the Garden of Gethsemane where he prayed in deep anguish.

Judas, the 12th disciple, arrived after betraying Jesus.

Jesus was taken to Annas and the higher priest to put Him on trial, where false witnesses accused Him of blasphemy.

They took Jesus to Pilate with false charges, demanding His crucifixion.
Pilate interrogated Jesus but found no wrongdoing.
But the chief priests incited the crowd to demand crucifixion, and Pilate complied.

Until the criminal hanging next to Jesus met Him, he had no hope of entering Heaven, but everything changed the moment he met Jesus.

The curtain in the temple was about 13 meters high and 7.5cm thick, separating the Holy of Holies, where God dwelt , from the people, was torn from top to bottom.
Jesus’ death reunites us with God, we are welcome to come before Him with boldness – the curtain was no longer needed.
