Why is Jesus taking the religious leaders about the history of them killing God’s prophets?
He was trying to save them by bringing the truth in a way that will wake them up.
Attempted trap by the Pharisees: Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.
Attempted trap by the Saducees: Jesus teaches that there is indeed life after death.
Which is the greatest commandment?
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
And
Love your Neighbour as yourself.
The Messiah will come from the line of David.
The widow’s mite
Jesus is worthy and able to help you – He is God’s perfect sacrificial lamb without blemish.
We can hand our problems end to Him, and He is willing and able to help.
- Do you test Him in every aspect of your life? If not, why?
- What is your heart after? Is it after the Kingdom of God?
