- Saw Jesus being buried in Joseph’s tomb
- Were the first to know that He had risen
These three ladies got up very early in the morning, hurried to the tomb with bundles of embalming herbs to give their beloved teacher a proper burial.
Instead, Jesus was gone,
The angel said that Jesus had risen!
And, through the angel’s message, made sure that Peter knew right away that he had been forgiven.
