Jesus has compassion on the multitude
Jesus knew intimately about each person in the crowd, even where they were from
Why was the focus only on the bread, but the fish?
Jesus catered for their needs, and he sent them away after their needs were completely met
Sometimes he wants you to sit and be filled, not just rush though.
Just rushing thorough can prevent us from recording all that God wants to do in your life

The Pharisees come to test Jesus, demanding a sign
Jesus refused, and left again
What a strange, short encounter
On the way back, Jesus warned his disciples not to take example from the Pharisees
The disciples were worried about having no bread , even though they had the Bread of Life with them in the boat
The disciples hearts were hardened.
Jesus deals with three groups:
- The Pharisees: Their blindness and incorrect expectations of Jesus causes them to miss out on a relationship with Jesus.
Are we trying to put Jesus in a box?
If we insist that Jesus fits on our box, we will be missing out too.
- The disciples: because their lack of compassion, their hearts were hardened.
Jesus had to bring up an instance in the past to help them deal with it.
- Us: We do a great job letting Jesus heal most of our heart, we do a bad job of letting him heal all of our heart.
Holding on to past issues hinders our life.
Don’t let your past hold you back from what God wants to do in your life.
Jesus wants our hearts to match his heart
