Mark 9:30-50
Jesus is purposefully making His way to the cross.
Jesus wanted to teach his disciples what was going to happen to Him, but they didn’t understand.
The disciples were arguing who would be the greatest.
“If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
True leaders must be servants. You should serve everyone, including those who can’t repay
Sin is drastic. Cut it off before it causes you harm in this life, or your eternal life.
7 lessons:
- Jesus wants to share things about Himself with you, and wants you to understand.
- He wants to correct you in order for you to be a good disciple
- He wants to change the way you think
- He wants you to be open to serving whoever He brings in to your path
- He wants you to be flexible while you work with other people
- He wants you to be drastic with thinks preventing you from walking close to God
- He wants you to be a flavourful Christian. With His help we can have joy in the midst of struggles.
