Acts 11:10-30
The one who started the persecution and caused the Christians to spread is now the one going to each of those places.
It appears as if the church in Antioch was not started by the disciples
Believers came to Antioch and proclaimed the good news of Jesus, and the church was started
The church in Jerusalem heard about what was going on in Antioch, and sent Barnabas to investigate.
He arrived, saw what was going on and was glad. He encouraged them to continue in the Lord.
They had no strategy, just faith.
The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch. They were called Christian by the people in Antioch, because they followed and demonstrated Christ.
Some prophets came from Jerusalem, including Agabus who predicted a great famine throughout the world.
So the disciples sent relief for the Church in Judea.
Be open to what God has planned for you. It may be different reason to what you expect!
